Almond Chicken Fingers on plate with sweet potato

Chicken fingers are a favourite in our house! We love that crispy texture and savoury flavour. These are great for any age and can be very popular with the children in your life. With the batter being made out of almond flour, you are getting an extra bonus of fibre in your diet. Add your favourite spices and herbs and you have a customized flavour profile on your chicken finger dish!

Prepackaged chicken fingers are full of so many nasties. With one search of an ingredient list for a chicken finger brand I have found some unnecessary and unwanted ingredients (soy protein isolate, wheat flour, yellow corn flour, corn starch, salt, sugar, modified palm oil, modified milk ingredients, sodium aluminum phospate,  flavour, dextrose, browned in canola oil) for what should be a very simple recipe. Skip the store bought chicken fingers and opt for these Crispy Almond Chicken Fingers, healthy and homemade! When you cook from scratch you’re able to know for sure what it is you and your family are eating. Keeping the ingredients simple can be a great guide when choosing healthy foods to eat or cook.
